COVID-19 UPDATES

March 18th, 2020:

To Our Valued Customers:

With the current state of the Covid‐19 outbreak we want to assure you Pioneer Packaging remains open for business and ready to meet all your packaging needs. At this time, deliveries continue to be time on Pioneer trucks throughout the Northwest. Further, at this time, our incoming supply chain remains wholly intact and on time.

During these unprecedented times the health and safety of our Pioneer family remains our top priority. We have mandated state and federally recommended sanitizing processes to minimize risk to our employees, customers, and vendors during the outbreak. Our inside Customer Service and Operations staff, and Company Truck Drivers are following recommended protocols to minimize potential spread of the virus. Outside Salesreps are working remotely and interacting with customers via phone and email, and only visiting in person if absolutely needed, and with customer approval.

The situation continues to evolve quickly and we will update you if there are any significant changes that would impact our ability to supply you with the products you need to continue operating your businesses. Please contact your Salesrep or one of our Customer Service Representatives if you foresee any major changes in your requirements so that we can adjust our inventories and deliveries appropriately.

Thank you for your trust in us; from the entire Pioneer family we wish you and your families all the best!

March 24th, 2020:

Covid-19 operational update:

With yesterday’s announcement of a mandatory stay at home order from Governor Jay Inslee of Washington and Governor Kate Brown of Oregon, I would like to update you with respect to Pioneer Packaging’s operations. As a packaging supplier to many essential businesses and industries, Pioneer will continue operations as an “Essential Business” as outlined in both the Department of Homeland Securities and State of Washington’s official decree and guidelines. We’ve made a few adjustments out of an abundance of caution. We have several of our inside customer service and other inside staff now working remotely whenever possible. We have further increased our social distancing and sanitation processes both within our offices, warehouses and with our truck drivers for both deliveries to customers as well as pick-ups at vendor facilities throughout OR, WA, and ID. We are committed to making adjustments whenever needed. At this time, we do not foresee anything that will affect our ability to continue the current level of service to our Northwest customer base in the coming weeks. If anything significantly changes this outlook we will be in touch immediately.

Thank You and Stay Safe!
